چکیده
Abstract Background Bracken fern ( Pteridium aquilinum ) produces several toxic glycosides, of which ptaquiloside (PTA) is the most well documented. PTA released from bracken to soil and leaches surface water groundwater. This study presents first comprehensive monitoring biomass, content in release by precipitation concentrations solution at 50 cm depth. Laboratory experiments were carried out estimate degradation kinetics different horizons moisture contents. Results The concentration was highest earliest development stages plant, i.e., May, declining through growing season until negligible contents senescence. maximum seasonal canopy peaked early summer, with values up 1600 mg m −2 . show that on average 0.2% present washed per mm incident rain, resulting 13.1 being off during single rain events. Once soil, dissipates rapidly showing a half-lives ranging 3.3 73 h observed rates tenfold decrease depths increasing top 25 Concentrations positively correlated canopy, pore 4,820 ng L −1 pulse event taking place July 2019. Conclusions production found be proportional biomass growth, while mass function volume intensity precipitation, as stage. Leaching takes form pulses linked events, exceeding levels are known pose risk human health.

15 صفحه اولA Study on Transfer Factors of Environmental Radionuclides: Radionuclide Transfer from Soil to Different Varieties of Rice in Gorgan, Iran
Introduction Natural and artificial radionuclides are the main sources of human radiation exposure. These radionuclides, which are present in the environment, can enter the food chain. Rice is one of the most important food components in Iran. Radionuclides by transferring from soil to rice and entering the human body can affect human health. Materials and Methods Fourteen samples of different ...

The fission yield of 99Tc from 239Pu and 235U is similar to that of 137Cs or 90Sr and it is therefore an important component of nuclear weapons fall-out, nuclear waste and releases from nuclear facilities. There is particular current interest in 99Tc transfer from soil to plants for: (a) environmental impact assessments for terrestrial nuclear waste repositories, and (b) assessments of the pote...
متن کاملAccumulation and Soil-to-Plant Transfer Factor of Lead and Manganese in some Plant Species in Semnan Province, Central Iran
Background: Heavy metals have detrimental effects on the health of human being. The values of manganese (Mn) and lead (Pb) in some plant species and soil samples in an arid area of Iran were evaluated in this study. Methods: The values of Pb and Mn in 94 plant samples from 8 plant species and the related soil samples in 2010 were considered in Shahroud and Damghan, central Iran. Moreover, th...
